CPS on the move in Preston

The Crown Prosecution Service has taken 6,779 sq ft across two floors at Guildhall House in the city’s largest post-pandemic office deal.

The CPS is relocating from Unicentre in making the move. The landlord at Guidlhall House, on the street of the same name, is Wain Estates, which was represented by JLL. Montagu Evans acted for the CPS.

Richard Wharton, director in office agency at JLL, said: “Guildhall House’s prime location in the city centre, and proximity to railway links, has made it a popular location with a number of local and national businesses.

“It has been fantastic to see increased activity return to the Preston market following the pandemic, and we anticipate that interest in city centre office space should only continue to increase over the coming months.”

Other tentants at Guildhall House include Specsavers, Fedcap, Walmsley Associates and the TAS Partnership.

Robert Pinkus & Co is joint agent at Guildhall House.
