Courier moves within Trafford Park

Industrial landlord Segro has signed City Air Express to 3,434 sq ft at Westbrook Park in Trafford Park.

The courier and parcel delivery company signed a five-year lease, after moving from a unit elsewhere on Westbrook Park that it rented off another tenant.

Westbrook Park is also home to Select Logistics, Gilgen Door Systems and Flywee Recycling.

Hazel Lambert, senior leasing surveyor at Segro, said: "We invested £160,000 to refurbish these units last year in order to improve the standard of accommodation and working environment for our customers. As a result of this investment, we have seen a surge in take-up at the park, with six new companies taking occupation in the past eight months, so we are pleased to see that the improvements have been well received."

Clint Rylance of City Air Express added: "We have built a good relationship with Segro since moving to the park, so when our sub-tenancy expired we were keen to stay at Westbrook Park."

The letting agents are Jones Lang LaSalle and P3 Property Consultants.
