Council takes space at Deeside Industrial Park

Cheshire West & Chester Council has taken hangers 13a and 13b in zone 1 at F&C REIT Asset Management's Deeside Industrial Park comprising 36,000 sq ft.

The letting is a rent equivalent to £108,000 per annum.

The council is to use the facilities to store and distribute wheelie bins as part of a roll out programme across the city.

Anthony O'Keefe, industrial director at DTZ advising F&C REIT Asset Management, said: "Occupation was given within 5 days of the initial viewing and in the current climate it is important to be able to act quickly and offer flexible terms to occupiers."

The letting was completed by Chester City Council, before its merger into Cheshire West & Chester Council last week.
