Contractors needed for new Wirral Police offices

Merseyside Police Authority has published a tender for a construction contract for a new 80,000 sq ft command centre in Birkenhead, Wirral.

The 18-month contract will involve the construction of the three storey office and operational building in Beaufort Road, together with 170,000 sq ft of external works.

All members of the contractor's staff and all subcontracting staff will be subject to security inspection, in accordance with Merseyside Police regulations.

Deadline for submitting tenders is Friday 15 January 2010.
