Consultancy drops initials to become Fairhurst

The multi-disciplinary engineering and development consultancy WA Fairhurst & Partners has changed its name to Fairhurst.

The partners decided to shorten the firm's name to 'better reflect the corporate image of the firm in today's modern business environment'. The change came into effect on 1 January.

The Manchester office was established in 2007 and currently employs seven staff based on the core business of civil and structural engineering and town planning and development services.

Fairhurst said the Manchester office is growing, delivering projects for clients including the Stobart Group, Sainsbury, University of Liverpool and Brookhouse Group.
