Conlon appoints public relations firm

Preston-based Conlon Construction has appointed The Write Angle public relations and marketing company to raise its profile across the North West region.

The Write Angle, which is based at Buckshaw Village in Chorley, will be developing a public relations campaign for Conlon to increase awareness and help to grow its market share.

The Write Angle said that the campaign will aim to boost Conlon's image by showcasing project successes and the company's "alternative approaches to construction".

Michael Conlon, construction director of the company, said that while the construction industry had faced some tough times over the past two years, now is the time to build confidence by promoting its achievements.

Conlon said: "We've fared remarkably well, despite the challenging economic climate, and we continue to work on a number of exciting projects.

"We are proud of the high standards on which we have built our company as these have ensured our services remain in demand. The Write Angle will help us to spread the word so that more people understand that the Conlon name is one that they can trust."

Angela Smith, managing director of The Write Angle, added: "Conlon has already got a fantastic reputation in the North West region thanks to the successful projects it has worked on. Our role will be to reinforce that and to take it to a much larger audience so that the Conlon name is synonymous with quality and dependability far and wide, helping it to grow its customer base."
