Colliers advises on Giggs and Neville hotel
The hotels team at global property advisers Colliers International has provided valuation advice for a new hotel venue in Manchester for HSBC and GG Hospitality, a new hospitality company created by Ryan Giggs and Gary Neville.
The first Hotel Football is being built outside Manchester United's Old Trafford stadium and is due for completion in 2014. Construction is expected to cost £20m.
The first outlet for GG Hospitality's Café Football business is set to open at Westfield Stratford in London in November.
David Hossack, Head of UK Hotels Valuations at Colliers International, said: "This is a unique and exciting hotel concept situated directly adjacent to Manchester United's Old Trafford football stadium with, in addition to the 138 letting bedrooms, extensive public areas and a five-a-side football pitch/terrace on the roof."
Stuart Procter, the former general manager of London's Stafford hotel, is providing the industry expertise as managing director of GG Hospitality and two star Michelin chef Michael Wignall is overseeing the food and beverage concept across the two brands.
