Clitheroe 75-bed care home gets green light
Muller Property Group’s application to Ribble Valley Council for the construction of a senior living facility has been approved.
The one-acre site sits off Pendle Road, roughly half a mile from Clitheroe town centre.
It will provide 43,000 sq ft of gross internal floorspace across three storeys, as well as a secure garden for residents.
There will be 75 bedrooms in the home.
A car park with 28 spaces is included in the plans.
The care home will have a café, private dining rooms, and a cinema.
Outline planning permission was granted in February last year, and was fully approved last week.
Currently, the site is occupied by a discount furniture store.
ADG Architects drew up the plans.
The applicant’s agent is Walsingham Planning.
