Cheshire farm goes on market for £2.7m
Savills is accepting informal tender offers for the 134-acre property in Haslington until noon tomorrow.
Winterley Pool Farm includes 111 acres of grassland, a variety of barns, a grain store and two carp lakes, as well as a five-bedroom farmhouse. There are also nine acres of pastureland.
The owners are selling the land to explore potential new business ventures, according to Savills.
“Winterley Pool Farm, which was once part of the Doddington Estate before being sold in 1911, remains a commercial farm offering the rare combination of significant residential appeal, high-quality farmland and established diversification income, making it a rare opportunity,” said Rhydian Scurlock-Jones, rural director at Savills.
The property is to be sold as freehold with vacant possession. However, the seller will have a holdover of the grain store until May 2023.
Oh dear oh dear, I have an awful feeling where this is going or what it will become !

Does the farmhouse and farm buildings and grain store have any heritage listing?
Is the land Subject to agriculture only restrictions? If not, why not? Cheshire has already gone over its government quota of new homes
