Change at the top for employee-owned Claremont
Lisa Flannery has been appointed as the office fit-out firm’s managing director, taking over from Tim Frankland who will become executive chairman.
Claremont became employee owned in late 2020 and almost five years on has announced a leadership transition.
Manging director Frankland has moved upstairs after more than 13 years in the role with his deputy Flannery being promoted.
Flannery has been with the firm for more than 35 years, while Frankland joined Claremont in 2001.
“I’ve thoroughly enjoyed my time serving as managing director over the past 13 years,” Frankland said.
“As executive chairman, I look forward to supporting Lisa and the wider senior leadership team as we continue to solve workplace problems, strengthen our market position, and deliver value to our clients.”
Flannery added: “Claremont is entering an exciting phase and a new chapter
“I’m delighted to take on this role and build on the strong foundations and success that Tim has delivered. Together with our talented team, we will continue to push boundaries, exceed client expectations and build a business we’re proud of.”
Mike Gardner, current chair of Claremont, is set to retire from the role and assume an independent role on the company’s employee ownership trust.
Claremont is based in Warrington and also has an office in Bristol. The firm employs 110 staff and counts Admiral, the PFA, and Softcat among its clients.
