CBRE recruits WeWork director to head Northern flex

Jordan Saleh has joined the multidisciplinary consultancy to lead the regional division of the flexible office solutions team.

Saleh is based out of CBRE’s Manchester office. He comes to the company from WeWork, where he was an asset sales director. Prior to his time at WeWork, he worked at Virgin Active and Sheffield United Football Club.

As head of flex for the North, Saleh will be focused on helping CBRE grow its flexible office advisory services for occupiers, operators, and investors. He will be working closely with CBRE’s London-based head of flexible office solutions, Michael Glynn.

Regarding Saleh’s recruitment, Glynn said: “The flex market continues to grow and evolve across all formats.

“The exciting hire of Jordan is another clear sign of CBRE’s continued investment into the sector, strengthening our occupier advisory expertise in this increasingly dynamic market.”

Joe Rigby, head of office agency for the North, welcomed Saleh to the CBRE team, describing the timing of Saleh’s recruitment as in line with growing demand for flexible offices.

“The managed workspace market has seen a huge amount of change in recent years with more entrants to the sector such as Industrious, Huckletree, Orega, X+Why and Gilbanks all taking space in 2022,” Rigby said.

“Jordan has an excellent understanding of the flex market, as well as established relationships within the sector which can be leveraged.”
