CBI/GVA Grimley to hold ‘managing change’ seminar

Business group the CBI and property advisors GVA Grimley are co-hosting a breakfast event at the Lowry hotel in Salford next month to offer advice on 'alternative strategies to stay competitive' during the recession.

Speakers at the free event on 21 May will include representatives from accountancy firm KPMG and the North West Development Agency.

The event will also present the results of the May 2009 GVA Grimley/CBI Real Estate survey, detailing trends and emerging strategies by landlords and tenants.

Speakers from KPMG will outline change management programmes, re-financing options, and tips on raising productivity and reducing waste and energy usage.

The NWDA will offer an overview on the support immediately available to businesses.
