Carlisle Asda goes to auction with £4.25m price tag
Custodian REIT is seeking a buyer for the St Nicholas Gate asset, which is let to the supermarket for the next 12 years.
Acuitus has included the 35,000 sq ft Carlisle Asda on its June auction list. The building has a guide price of £4.25m.
Custodian REIT, which owns the rest of the retail park, is selling the leasehold on the Asda unit, which runs until the supermarket’s lease expiry in 2038.
The lease includes fixed rental uplifts which increase to £894,000 in 2028 and just more than £1m from 2033.
As well as Asda, other notable names based at the retail park include B&M, Iceland, Halfords, Tradepoint, and The Gym Group.
The Asda unit last went up for sale in 2024 with a £7m guide.
