Caldwell Construction buys Mandarin Point
The construction firm has bought Building 10 Mandarin Point at Warrington’s Centre Park from Peloton Properties for an undisclosed sum.
The 6,000 sq ft freehold site will be occupied by Caldwell, which is expanding and relocating from its current base at Webster Court on Gemini Business Park, also in Warrington.
Centre Park is a 370,000 sq ft purpose-built office park on the south side of Warrington town centre. There is 46,000 sq ft of space still available on the site.
Other occupiers at Centre Park include the NHS, Warrington Guardian, engineering company Boulting Group, accountancy firm Brookson and consultancy Optionis.
BE Group acted on behalf of asset manager Peloton in the sale.
Sam Birtwistle, surveyor at BE Group, said: “On average, 20% of the annual take-up in Warrington is made up of freehold transactions. It is positive to see this market trend continue.”
The majority of Warrington’s Centre Park was developed by Marshall CDP in the last two decades.
