Cafe Mao searches for first Manchester site

Asian restaurant group Café Mao has retained King Sturge to find a site in Manchester for its sixth outlet.

The requirement is for a high-profile unit between 3,000 sq ft and 3,500 sq ft in the city centre with rental levels up to £150,000 a year, preferably with parking facilities nearby.

The first Café Mao opened in Dublin in 1997. Since then, two further restaurants have been launched in the city as well as branches in Glasgow and Cape Town.

Lauren Cohen of King Sturge said: "Our client is seeking leasehold premises with existing or potential A3 consent. Café Mao has an excellent reputation in the cities it already has a presence in and its mixture of cultural cuisine will add to the eclectic mix of eating establishments in Manchester."
