Bruntwood SciTech completes £3.8m workspace
The joint venture between Bruntwood and Legal & General has opened 35,000 sq ft of renovated office space at No11 Mereside, located on its Alderley Park science and technology campus.
The £3.8m project stretches across three floors, providing offices ranging from 500 sq ft to 30,000 sq ft.
Collaborative breakout and meeting rooms are also available, with unique views overlooking the River Mere and 400 acres of countryside.
An array of life science and technology companies are expected to take up space at No11 Mereside, from specialist medical communications to software development businesses.
Companies will benefit from wider campus amenities, including a sports complex, pub, and restaurants.
More than 4,000 car parking spaces are available across the campus, with EV charging points and a cycle hub.
Mark Julian, head of commercial at Bruntwood SciTech, said: “No11 Mereside will further enhance the reputation of Alderley Park as a world-leading campus for science, technology, and innovation.“
Commenting on the rapid growth of the sector, Julian added: “No11 Mereside has been developed with this in mind and we’re looking forward to those incoming businesses not only enjoying its benefits but also using them as a catalyst to grow.”
The scheme is part of Bruntwood SciTechs wider £247m Alderley Park masterplan. The campus already boasts a portfolio of more than 250 science and technology businesses, such as Cancer Research UK MI, SAP, and Airship Interactive.
Other businesses already taking advantage of what the campus has to offer include Sai Life Sciences, Cisco, Peak Software, and SCIEX.
