Brooks Macdonald chooses Marsden Street

Landlord IVG has let part of the tenth floor of 1 Marsden Street in central Manchester to wealth manager Brooks Macdonald. The new tenant has taken 3,129 sq ft and is relocating from 55 King Street.

Paul Smith, from Jones Lang LaSalle, acting for IVG, said: "The letting to Brooks Macdonald is great news for the Grade A sub-10,000 sq ft office market which has suffered over the past 12 months and provides proof that where high quality refurbished Grade A accommodation is created there will be demand."

The letting leaves 5,511 sq ft on the first floor and 2,447 sq ft on the eighth floor available to let.

Chapman Law represented Brooks Macdonald and WHR are joint agents for IVG.
