Brabners progresses latest regional office overhaul
Flexible Business Interiors has been appointed to revamp the law firm’s 30,000 sq ft Liverpool office within Ashtrom Properties’ Exchange Flags.
Brabners has overhauled its Manchester, Leeds, and Bamber Bridge offices in recent years and is now embarking on a reimagining of its Liverpool hub.
Designed by Incognito, the scheme will split Brabners’ two floors at Horton House into four departmental neighbourhoods and aims to facilitate agile working practices.
Brabners’ Liverpool office will take cues from its surroundings, featuring nods to Liverpool’s maritime history.
Alan Lloyd, head of facilities at Brabners, said: “Our continued investment in our offices ensures that we can attract and retain the very best talent, and unlock collaboration between our teams through the provision of inspiring, motivational and enjoyable places to work.
“The way that both our colleagues and clients have responded to our refurbished offices across the North shows us that it is worth the time and effort to get it right, and we are excited to see the development teams on site in Liverpool beginning their work to transform our head office.”
Owned by Ashtrom Properties, the grade two-listed Horton House recently underwent an extensive refurbishment also designed by Incognito and delivered by Flexible Business Interiors.
George Curwen, director at Flexible Business Interiors, said the project would be “game-changing”:
“With agile working still popular with many employees, we are seeing lots of companies consulting with their staff and investing in working environments that are designed specifically to meet their needs.”
Howard Powsney, director at Incognito, added: “We pride ourselves on the quality of our client relationships and our ability to design creative, intelligent interiors, so having worked with Brabners to reimagine its workspaces in Lancashire, Leeds and Manchester, it is fantastic to now be involved in this latest project at the firm’s head office in Liverpool.”
Knight Frank is the project manager for the project, which is expected to take around 10 months to complete.
Great to refresh and invest, but doesn’t look too comfortable or ergonomic if you want productive staff.
