Boyfield launches Racefield Consulting

With his departure from Lexington North official, Paul Boyfield has founded a new company specialising in political strategy, stakeholder engagement, and strategic advisory for the built environment.

Boyfield has more than 25 years of experience in strategic communications. He was the founder of Lexington North, which was acquired by New York-based Kyu Collective in 2022. Boyfield stepped down from the company two years ago, serving as a senior counsel as Rob Loughenbury took over as managing director.

Racefield Consulting will specialise in advising on a wide range of development projects, including regeneration, commercial, logistics, infrastructure, residential, and renewable energy.

“Successful projects are rarely determined by planning policy alone,” Boyfield said.

“Political priorities, stakeholder relationships and public perception all play a critical role in shaping outcomes,” he continued.

Racefield exists to help clients understand those dynamics and navigate them successfully.”

Boyfield will work directly with each client, recruiting delivery partners as needed to assist with projects according to their needs.

“Racefield represents a return to a more personal way of working,” he said.

“This isn’t about building another consultancy business or growing a large team. I’ve done that before and thoroughly enjoyed it.

“Clients increasingly tell me they want direct access to senior experience, strategic judgement, and practical advice,” Boyfield continued. “Racefield is built around that principle.”

In addition to his role at Racefield, Boyfield will continue in his position as a partner at TEA Real Estate. TEA specialises in land assembly and remediation for data centres.
