Place North West’s Place Resi event will provide audiences with a chance to hear from the movers and shakers in the industry, while also networking and forming valuable business connections.

Sponsored by ClearFibre, Trowers & Hamlins, WSP, Wates Construction, Oppidan, and Northstone, this half-day conference will be held on 13 October at the Science & Industry Museum in Manchester.

The event starts with breakfast at 8am, followed by our first panel examining the ins and outs of city living.

Expect to hear how residents’ demands have changed in the post-Covid era and how that is impacting developments. We’ll also delve into affordable housing’s role in the urban environment, viability and the ever-changing supply-and-demand dynamic and how that impacts rents.

After the panel, we’ll have a networking break before gearing up for our second panel: Homes of the future.

This forward-looking panel will explore what the next years and decades have in store for residential development in our towns, cities, suburbs.

Our group of experts will debate the government’s role in solving the housing crisis and how public and private sectors can work together, all while exploring the impacts the economic situation and growing pushes for sustainable design are having on the industry.

The day concludes with lunch at noon, giving you plenty of time to digest the morning’s discussions while still having time to network.

When you buy your ticket, you’ll be joining the ranks of representatives from Harworth, Duchy Homes, Placefirst, Turley and Day Architectural.
