BoI signs for Chapel Street

Bank of Ireland has completed the widely tipped deal to take the 6,500 sq ft 13th floor of Rumford Investment's 20 Chapel Street offices in Liverpool.

Paying £20/sq ft, BoI will move into the 150,000 sq ft tower in March after an office fit-out is completed.

BoI is the fourth tenant at the building, which is still only around 20% let despite being completed in November 2006. The other tenants at the tower are architect Broadway Malyan, stockbroker Panmure Gordon, and accountancy firm Ernst & Young.

King Sturge advised BoI. Hitchcock Wright & Partners and DTZ are letting agents.
