Boffi to succeed Kozubek as MIPIM director

Nicolas Boffi will join event organiser RX France from Arcadis, taking over from managing director Nicolas Kozubek, who stood down earlier this year after more than three years in the role.

At Arcadis, Boffi led strategy for the Global Cities Program as Paris city executive, working with the private sector and city leaders to deliver sustainable urban projects in Paris and other major global cities.

In his new role at MIPIM, the global real estate and development expo held in Cannes each March, Boffi hopes to bolster connections between the public and private sectors.

“The next few years will continue to bring complex challenges — economic, political, fiscal — that demand collaboration and bold decision-making,” he said.

“MIPIM must be the place where these conversations happen, where strategies are shaped and where uncertainty is turned into opportunities for the future of our cities.”

He added: “MIPIM’s influence is extraordinary. At a time of profound geopolitical and economic change, it remains the only place where the global real estate community can come together with world leaders to understand the future and seize new opportunities.”

Filippo Rean, managing director at RX France, said Boffi’s experience within the built environment sector would be invaluable.

“Nicolas brings a strategic mindset shaped by two decades of sector expertise, including leading complex city projects at Arcadis,” he said.

“His experience in aligning public and private priorities will strengthen MIPIM’s position as the global forum where decision-makers address the structural challenges shaping our cities—sustainability, resilience, and economic competitiveness. This appointment reinforces our ambition to make MIPIM the place where ideas turn into action for the future of urban living.”
