B&M signs at Great Homer

St Modwen has signed B&M Retail to its £150m Project Jennifer scheme on Great Homer Street in Liverpool.
B&M will open its large format store and garden centre in spring 2017. Construction is due to begin in September.
Paul Batho, projects director at St. Modwen, said: “We are currently in detailed discussions with other potential occupiers and we are looking forward to making further announcements about other occupiers in the future.”
The long-awaited development is anchored by a 40,000 sq ft Sainsbury’s, far smaller than originally planned. The 43-acre project has been through numerous revisions since being first mooted a decade ago.
Hitchcock Wright & Partners and Colliers International are joint agents.
