Blackpool site receives planning consent

Planning has been granted for the redevelopment of the 16,258 sq ft former Shaw's Depository building on Whitegate Drive in Blackpool.

Set amongst 0.25 acres, the surrounding site recently gained planning permission for the construction of 14 apartments.

Currently, the brick built, three-storey former storage depository offers an enclosed yard and comes with its own semi-detached, three-bedroom house.

Danny Pinkus, partner at agents Robert Pinkus & Co, said: "There is a strong demand for development sites throughout the Blackpool area and because of the prime site this building occupies, we are expecting a renewed interest in this property and what the redevelopment of the site can offer this area of town."
