Biotech firm takes 66,000 sq ft in Warrington
Life Technologies has agreed to lease an industrial unit in The Grange employment area from Custodian Reit on a 10-year lease.
The biotechnology company is to occupy the 65,830 sq ft Four Kingsland Grange, a detached unit that has been refurbished to provide quality warehousing space with two-storey offices.
The Kingsland Grange complex is located in the centre of The Grange, an industrial estate east of Warrington town centre. Neighbouring occupiers include packaging and retail companies XPO Logistics, Hermes, Iceland and Fed Ex.
Real estate consultancy Savills acted for the property’s owner Custodian Reit, a real estate investment trust, in the lease deal.
Billy Seddon, associate in Savills’ Manchester industrial agency team, said: “The comprehensive refurbishment of Four Kingsland Grange created modern, high quality warehousing space in a highly sought-after area.
“We’re delighted to have secured this letting to Life Technologies – a deal that will bring another notable occupier to the wider industrial estate.”
