Beech returns with amended Salford co-living plans
A vehicle headed up by former Beech Holdings director Stephen Beech has lodged plans for a 97-unit scheme.
CCL MediaCity wants to build a 10-storey co-living block on the corner of Eccles New Road and South Langworthy Road.
The proposal, designed by Leach Rhodes Walker, comes a little more than a year after plans for 238 co-living units across two blocks on a pair of sites close to Langworthy Metrolink stop were rejected due to concerns about a lack of space.
Since then, the plots have reverted to separate ownerships and revised schemes have come forward on each.
In September, Brookland House, the SPV that owns the site opposite, resubmitted plans for a single, 71-unit scheme.
Now, CCL, controlled by Stephen Beech, has submitted plans for the other.
Paul Butler Associates is advising on planning matters for both schemes.

Too near metro stop and not a good location

Langworthy is the perfect location for anyone wanting to reside in a neighborhood where anti-social behaviour, hate crime, retail theft, drug supply and burglary are daily occurences.
