The lavishly fitted out 22,000 sq ft store designed by Four IV over three floors in Peter's Lane is aimed at offering customers a luxurious day out with a diverse range of products, treatments and price points on offer. On the busy retail ground floor, there are numerous beauty, skincare and fragrance concessions- many taking their brand outside London for the first time in the UK. Features include a perfume library along two walls for customers to browse without a counter or staff between them and the goods.

Established international brands, including Chanel, YSL and Estée Lauder, are joined by exclusives to Liverpool Tom Ford Beauty, NARS, Crème de la Mer and Shu Uemura. Sitting alongside these are the niche, new and contemporary, including M.A.C, Bobbi Brown, Jo Malone, Sisley, Laura Mercier, Shiseido, Dermalogica, Bliss and Escentric Molecules.

The pace relaxes on the first floor, for open treatments such as pedicures and a hair salon. This floor is also home to a champagne and cocktail bar, called WOW, where iPads offer customers the chance to book treatments or shop online with Harvey Nichols, products delivered to store or home. Brands on this floor include Mark Woolley's Electric Hair Lounge, a Blink Brow Bar and both a Blinkfairy lash bar and a Champagne Nail Bar. Harvey Nichols Beyond Beauty, BeautyMART, Carita, ESPA and The Organic Pharmacy, all exclusives in Liverpool, are also present in this space.

The second floor is a spa – accessed by express lifts from the ground floor to bypass the retail area – offering discreet treatments in private rooms. This final floor is more hushed, with low lighting and feels like a faraway five-star hotel rather than above a city centre store. Spa operators include HD Brows by STRIP and tanning at The Studio by James Read, whilst Karidis Medispa covers more specialist services including, laser hair removal, injectables and body contouring treatments.

Miles Dunnett, head of asset management, Grosvenor Liverpool Fund, said: "Harvey Nichols has achieved something with Beauty Bazaar that exceeds everyone's expectations. It is an innovative, exciting concept that not only returns glamour to the beauty sector, it makes it a highly enjoyable, immersive experience. There is also no better endorsement of Liverpool ONE's success than its selection by Harvey Nichols to launch the Beauty Bazaar concept."
Harvey Nichols Group Concessions and Beauty Director, Daniela Rinaldi, who has led the development of Beauty Bazaar, added: "Beauty Bazaar, Harvey Nichols is the first one-stop destination for all things beauty. This truly unique space, spread across three floors, houses the very best brands in the market, alongside the very latest services that ensure grooming of the highest level, all within the convenience of a single space.

"Globally, this is the first time international and premium brands have been housed within such a luxurious environment, anchored by a fabulous Champagne and Cocktail Bar, to ensure that Beauty Bazaar is an experience like no other. We have created a true lifestyle experience where guests can meet friends and appreciate beauty in an aspirational, educational and service-driven surrounding."

The opening follows another successful year for Liverpool ONE. Sales in the year-to-date are 4.9% ahead of 2011, Liverpool's catchment has grown by nearly 30% since in 2010, and stores trade 26% ahead of their UK average. In addition, in September this year, Grosvenor announced the arrival of eight new brands occupying nearly 65,000 sq ft, taking
South John Street, Paradise Street and Peter's Lane to 100% let.

Grosvenor and Harvey Nichols both dealt directly.
