BDP hires ex-MBLA urban designer

The Manchester studio of architects BDP has appointed David Raynor as associate in its urban design team in the north.

Raynor led the masterplanning team at MBLA, the Manchester-based architects and urbanists. MBLA closed in September 2012 after 20 years' trading.

At MBLA Raynor specialised in working on large residential planning applications.

He worked previously at Faulkner Brown, Holford Associates and Haliday Meecham and taught architecture and urban design at Cardiff, Hull and Liverpool John Moores universities.
