Baucher promoted to partner
Cushman & Wakefield Manchester has promoted office agent Jonathan Baucher to partner.
C&W said the promotion was "in recognition of Jonathan's significant contribution to the company, which last year saw him complete some of the largest and most important office deals in the North including the 106,000 sq ft letting to Slater Gordon…and the 70,500 sq ft letting to UtilityWise, which was the largest office letting of last year in Newcastle. On the acquisition front, he has been advising BUPA and completed a number of other transactions including 24,000 sq ft for Ford Credit at No 1 First Street."
Baucher joined C&W Manchester nine years ago and is head of office agency covering all regional markets across the North of England. He has advised Commercial Development Projects, Amec, Bupa, BSkyB, Eversheds, LateRooms and Allied London.
He said: "2014 was an exceptional and very exciting year for us as we saw a real surge in requirements and successfully negotiated a number of important deals that reflected the upturn in market conditions. I am confident that this renewed confidence in the Northern office market will continue over the next 12 months and I look forward to the new challenges that lie ahead."
Ben Roberts, partner and head of C&W Manchester, added: "Jonathan has proven to be a valuable member of our Northern team and we are very pleased that he has been awarded this promotion, which he deserves."
