Barnfield appoints ex-Glovers estimator

Blackburn-based Barnfield Construction has re-hired estimator Andrew Brown 22 years after he worked for the firm at the outset of his career.

Brown spent several years as a director of Glovers Projects Servicers in Blackburn pricing projects worth up to £40m. He also worked on a £10m oil museum in Kuwait dessert.

Barnfield Group produced a £6.6m pre-tax profit on turnover of £35.6m in 2010. The group has housing, construction and commercial development divisions, working with Pendle Council, Capital & Centric, Princess Foods, Biffa Waste Services, Hampton By Hilton, Boundary Mill Stores and Prestigious Car Dealerships.
