Office agent Mark Bamber has joined the consultancy at director level, arriving from a 12-year stint at Knight Frank.

James Dickinson, director at Canning O’Neill, said: “We are thrilled to welcome Mark to the team. His depth of market knowledge, strong client relationships, and proven ability to deliver high quality advice make him an excellent fit for Canning O’Neill.

“Mark’s arrival reinforces our commitment to providing best in class service across the region, and we are excited about what he will bring to our business and our clients.”

Bamber, a well known agent in the Manchester and regional market, has “cemented his strong reputation advising landlords, developers, and occupiers on office and commercial space throughout Greater Manchester and the wider North West” over the last dozen years, his new outfit said.

He said: “I’m delighted to be joining Canning O’Neill at such an exciting time for both the firm and the Manchester market. The company has an excellent reputation, a fantastic client base, and a clear focus on providing straightforward, high quality advice.

“I look forward to contributing to the continued growth of the business and working closely with clients across the region.”

Bamber joined Knight Frank in 2014, after 13 years with Lambert Smith Hampton.

David Porter, partner & office head at Knight Frank, had warm words to offer: “Mark has been a highly valued member of our team, and we’re grateful for the contribution he has made during his time with Knight Frank.

“We wish him every success in his new role at Canning O’Neill and look forward to continuing a positive working relationship across future transactions.”

Canning O’Neill now has a team of five, including four fee-earners, and continues to be an important player in the local market.

Notable deals in 2025 included acting for Landsec on a 32,000 sq ft letting to tax advisory firm Ryan at MediaCity, the acquisition of 31,000 sq t at Circle Square for Havas, and the acquisition of an additional 25,000 sq ft for Protector Insurance at 3 Hardman Street.
