Aviation company takes space at Orion

Acting for the building’s owner Kames Capital, B8 has secured a 56,500 sq ft deal at Orion Business Park in Cheadle.

CAE Training & Services has taken a 10-year lease at £6.50/sq ft at Unit 2 on the business park, which was previously occupied by Boeing. The three-storey office and warehouse was fully refurbished by its owner prior to the deal.

Other tenants at the business park, which fronts Birdhall Lane, include Bosch, Landis & Gyr, and Panalpina. The deal with CAE leaves one unit remaining, a mixed warehouse and office of 44,000 sq ft.

CAE was formerly based at Woodford Aerodrome, which is currently undergoing a large-scale residential transformation. Its existing facility includes classrooms, computer training facilities, and four flight simulators, and provides training for both airline pilots and cabin crew.
