Asteer makes key appointments
Jon Power and Paul Nellist have joined the specialist planning consultancy as associate partners. Alice Henderson has joined as a senior planner.
All three began their roles at the Manchester-based consultancy in January.
Power joined Asteer Planning after four years with CBRE, where he was an associate director. Prior to that, he was a principal planner with HOW Planning in Manchester and a consultant at Urbis in Australia.
Nellist was formerly an associate director at Avison Young, where he worked for four years. He has previously worked at Lichfields as a senior planner and as a planning consultant with Planning Design.
Henderson joined the property industry in 2017 as a planning assistant with DPP. She went on to be a graduate planner with Avison Young before joining Asteer this month.
The three new hires will work from Asteer’s new offices in Mynshulls House by Manchester Cathedral.
“What a way to start the year, with a brilliant team and fantastic new premises,” said Asteer managing partner Jon Suckley.
“We have a high-quality team of experienced advisors focusing on urban, commercial, residential and strategic planning advisory and our recent growth puts us in an excellent position to continue to add value to all our clients’ projects across the full range of property sectors,” he continued.
“We are looking forward to an exciting future with an exceptionally talented team”.
Asteer was founded in April last year. Its portfolio of clients includes Urbo Regeneration, HBD, Tritax Symmetry, Far East Consortium, Seddon, and Countryside.
