Arrow hits target with Haydock letting
Oak Tyres has signed a 10-year lease on an 82,000 sq ft unit at Arrow Capital’s Haydock Industrial Estate.
The tyre wholesaler will pay £7.95/sq ft on the unit, known as Point 23.
The deal sees Oak Tyres increase its Haydock presence. The unit will provide the company with additional space close to its existing headquarters on nearby North Florida Road.
Point 23 is located off Millfield Lane, the main road through the estate, and is next to the two largest warehouses on the estate, Sainsbury’s 626,000 sq ft distribution centre and Booker Wholesale’s 400,000 sq ft unit.
Other occupiers at Haydock Industrial estate include Amazon and Kellogg’s.
B8 Real Estate and CBRE advised Arrow on the deal and Avison Young represented the tenant.
Jon Thorne, director at B8, said: “Despite the current economic climate, the industrial property market remains buoyant, with good quality units continuing to command strong rents due to continued healthy occupier demand and the lack of available stock.”
