Arcadis appoints global service director

Kayleigh Owen has been promoted to lead the consultancy’s cost and commercial management team.

Owen will be based out of Arcadis’s Manchester office. Arcadis offers services in sustainable design, engineering and management services. The Netherlands-based consultancy has more than 350 offices in 40 different countries.

Owen has been with Arcadis for more than 15 years. She began her career as part of the consultancy’s graduate scheme. She has worked across various sectors, including infrastructure investment, corporate real estate and retail banking.

During her time with Arcadis, she has held several senior roles. Most recently she was the account director for National Highways, managing a team of 400 people on a 60-project portfolio that was valued at £31m a year.

Regarding her new role as global service director for cost and commercial management, Owen said: “When I joined the cost and commercial management community as a graduate, it was clear that Arcadis had something very special – both in terms of our collective expertise and our reputation in the wider market.

“I’m delighted to have the opportunity to support and champion cost management (and quantity surveying) within, and outside, Arcadis and I look forward to meeting, supporting and learning from the community in the coming weeks and months.”

Steve Bromhead, global operations director of places at Arcadis, praised Owen.

“Kayleigh’s expertise and breadth of experience together with her strong leadership will undoubtedly help Arcadis build on the work we have done to build a globally leading cost management business,” he said.

“With her career journey starting at Arcadis as a graduate, I am sure she will continue to be a role model for younger professionals and a champion in our industry for years to come.”
