Approval for Mossley Hill apartments 

A project to redevelop a site off Carnatic Road in South Liverpool into 18 apartments has been approved by the city council. 

The four-storey scheme, designed by Falconer Chester Hall, is being developed by applicant Kevin Crickett. 

Crickett is named as the director of a number of companies including Carnatic Development and Black Caviar Investments, according to Companies House. 

The Mossley Hill site, measuring 0.7 acres, is occupied by a single house that will be demolished to make way for the apartment block. The development incorporates basement car parking spaces and cycle storage.

The latest consent supersedes the planning permission granted for the site last year for a three-storey scheme comprising 15 apartments. 

Zerum is the planning consultant for the project, MOSODI advised on transport, Ascerta is the ecological consultant, and DEP Landscape Architecture is the landscape architect. 

Adam Hall, Falconer Chester Hall managing director, said: “[The development] is a confident, contemporary rendition of apartment living. It retains a large front and rear garden space and the use of large balconies brings the outdoors into each home and will be a popular feature.”
