Approval due for £15m Bamber Bridge business park
Plans for the 67,000 sq ft Momentum Plus facility at South Rings, close to the M65 interchange, have been recommended for approval when they are put before South Ribble Council next week.
Roundhouse Properties has proposed a £15m investment in nine commercial blocks and units ranging in size from 750 sq ft to 10,000 sq ft.
The 3.5-acre site off Cuerden Way was previously a United Utilities depot – Roundhouse is hoping to take advantage of the site’s strategic location, which provides quick access to the M6, M61, and M55.
David Cox Architects has designed the units, while De Pol Associates has led on planning matters for Roundhouse.
Should South Ribble Council follow the recommendation to approve Momentum Plus, work on-site could start in early 2026, according to the applicant.
Each unit would be let or sold as an empty shell with toilet facilities to allow tenants to customise to specific needs.

Car parking would be available for up to 186 vehicles. Each unit would front onto a loop road, giving individual access.
Roundhouse Properties has developed other Momentum business parks in Blackburn, Chorley, and Preston and now has hopes to build a facility in South Ribble.
