Altrincham’s Stag Industrial Estate reaches fully let status
Leases to London Stone and Paintwell mean that all 24 units on the logistics development have tenants.
Stag Industrial Estate comprises a total of 80,900 sq ft and sits off Atlantic Street, opposite the Broadheath Asda.
Natural stone paving provider London Stone and painting supply company Paintwell took a combined 6,400 sq ft at the industrial park.
Both deals were brokered by Knight Frank, who are joint agents for the property alongside Cushman & Wakefield. Vail Williams represented Paintwell on the deal.
“Paintwell [is] expanding nationally, seeking units on well-located, busy trade counter schemes,” said Vail Williams associate Charlotte Fullard.
She continued: “Stag Industrial Estate met the brief perfectly with a suitable unit coming available at just the right time.”
Reflecting on the two deals, Knight Frank senior surveyor Bradley Norton said: “There was a lot of interest from companies looking for good quality prominent space in this busy location, popular with customers, who like the convenience of having a range of trade occupiers all in one place.”
Cushman & Wakefield senior surveyor Laurence Davies said: “The fact that Stag Industrial Estate is now fully let and there is continued demand for industrial accommodation demonstrates the strength of the industrial market in key locations such as South Manchester.
“Rents have continued to grow whilst stock levels dwindle, but demand remains high across the sector, proved by the performance of Stag as an asset,” he continued.
Other tenants at Stag Industrial Estate include Clifton Trade Bathrooms, Altrincham Plumbase, and Vickers Business Systems.
Stag Industrial Estate was purchased by Schroders in 2017 for £7.5m.
