Altrincham office building sells for £2m

IGP Investment has purchased the four-storey Garden Place on Victoria Street and Garden Lane from a group of private investors.

Garden Place is 10,101 sq ft and is fully let on full repairing and insuring leases. Those leases generate £149,000 per year.

Regional Property Solutions and Ryden were the agents for the vendor, while Christopher Dee represented IGP Investment.

According to Regional Property Solutions’ managing director Daniel Lee, the sale of Garden Place was the first multi-let office investment to be sold in the town centre this year.

“It attracted a great deal of interest with a robust level of quality bids on the day setting a benchmark in Manchester’s most affluent and sought after suburb,” Lee said of the building.
