Alliance Disposables relocates to Heywood
The catering equipment supplier has taken a 33,000 sq ft warehouse within Columbia Threadneedle Investments’ Broadfield Business Park in Heywood.
The business has upsized and relocated from Lostock in Bolton, and has agreed to take Unit 9 at the park on a six-year lease at £5.25/sq ft.
Alliance Disposables provides non-food products to the hospitality, catering and leisure sectors and its new warehouse will be used for storage and distribution.
The industrial teams at JLL and B8 Real Estate advised Collingwood Rigby which asset manages the estate on behalf of Columbia Threadneedle Investments. Alliance Disposables was unrepresented.
Richard Johnson, associate director of industrial and logistics at JLL, said: “Alliance Disposables needed larger and more modern distribution premises built to a high specification and in particular with a generous eaves height, level access and dock-level loading and a secure service yard. Broadfield Business Park satisfied its requirement well and also offered the added benefit of on-site security.
“This letting leaves just Unit 3 and Unit 6 available, which measure 22,451 sq ft and 23,140 sq ft respectively and due to the lack of modern Grade A competing space in the area, we are confident of letting another unit soon.”
