Agents selected to sell Bruntwood’s latest Liverpool offices

Bruntwood has appointed Knight Frank and Irving Rice to market No1 Dale Street in Liverpool city centre as it undergoes a £2m refurbishment.

The revamp of the 50,000 sq ft office building acquired from Petros earlier this year will see Bruntwood bring 31,000 sq ft of lettable space to market in a year's time. The 11,000 sq ft RBS banking hall, on a long lease on the ground floor, will be untouched. Other smaller tenants on the upper floors will also be unaffected.

Law firm Brabners Chaffe Street recently relocated from No1 Dale Street to UK Land & Property and Pochin's Horton House next door. Office staff from Royal Bank of Scotland are moving to 23,000 sq ft in Bruntwood's The Plaza on Old Hall Street.

Graham Bowling said: "No1 Dale Street is in a prime location and we are confident that the refurbishment, delivering attractive high quality offices in such a magnificent building, will provide an attractive proposition for businesses looking for city centre accommodation."

No.1 Dale Street is the ninth property in Bruntwood's growing Liverpool portfolio, now up to 870,000 sq ft.

Bruntwood also acquired the Cotton Exchange and Cotton House on Old Hall Street for a reputed £20m this year and is close to buying a large part of Edward Pavilion at the Albert Dock.
