Adullam plans 82 homes in Buglawton

A hybrid application for the construction of 12 supported housing units alongside a 70-bed care home in Congleton has been put to Cheshire East Council.

Adullam Housing Association wants to expand on its Beech House site, where the developer has already converted a grade two-listed building into 19 supported housing units.

Architect Bower Mattin and Young has been appointed with Ashton Hale, consultant town planners, to pursue the application on behalf of Adullam and ROCK Co. Properties.

Plans seek consent for the construction of a two-storey apartment building, which would host eight one-bed supported housing units.

The other four units would be found in the converted Delta Building, situated on the eastern edge of the 2.8-acre plot.

In addition, outline plans for a 70-bed care home, dominating the southern end of the site, have been put forward – details for this part of the application have not yet been finalised.
