£70m MediaCity resi completes
High Definition, the 280-apartment project designed by Sheppard Robson, has officially been handed over by developer Glenbrook to owner Latimer.
Latimer is the development arm of Clarion Housing Group and had recruited Glenbrook to deliver the £70m project, situated by White in MediaCity. Bowmer + Kirkland was the main contractor for the 231,000 sq ft build.
High Definition is split between two blocks: the 125-flat Aria and the 155-apartment Alto, which was completed in December. In addition to apartments, High Definition offers coworking spaces, a communal lounge, and private meeting pods.
In terms of parking, 25 spaces for cars are available.
Of the 280 flats at High Definition, 100 are set for shared ownership. The other 180 are available for market sale.
The apartments themselves break down to 132 one-bedroom flats, 136 two-bedroom ones, and 12 three-bedroom apartments.
Liam Gordon, project manager at Glenbrook, described High Definition as follows: “High Definition offers residents an opportunity to have an exceptional home in the heart of MediaCityUK, an area which has developed into a well-established place where people can live, work and enjoy to be.”
Steven Bonvini, director of delivery at Latimer, said: “We are delighted to have worked with Glenbrook to reach this significant milestone at our premium High Definition scheme, which will set the standards of future city living.
“We are immensely proud that new residents can access outstanding green space, culture, and connectivity on their doorstep – all whilst living within a vibrant new community boasting high-quality and affordable apartments, coworking spaces, and communal areas.”
Planning permission for High Definition was secured in February 2020. Abacus is the employer’s agent for the project . The development team also includes structural engineer SGI, M&E consultant Ridge, landscape architect Re-form, and fund monitor AA Projects.

Would like to see an image of the whole building to critique the balcony provision. At least it looks like there is a shared garden space provided
