£50m housing plans on show
Hollinwood Homes, a subsidiary of Marcus Worthington Group, is to host a public exhibition for Foxhall Village, its 400-unit project proposed for 19 acres in Blackpool.
The Lancashire house builder appointed by Blackpool Council to build the new village will display its plans on Tuesday 25 September at the Blackpool Philharmonic & Social Club in Foxhall Road from 12 noon to 6pm.
Members of the public will be able to see the plans for the 400 new homes which will be built near the sea front. Building work is due to start in 2013 after a period of site clearance with the first home ready for occupation in April 2014.
Mark Chadwick, residential development director for Hollinwood Homes said: "We hope to see a large attendance at the public exhibition as it will be a chance for the public to see our impressive plans for this new neighbourhood.
"The houses planned at Foxhall Village will be highly energy efficient, with flexible living spaces, good parking arrangements and plenty of outdoor space and at highly affordable prices."
Cllr Gillian Campbell, member for housing at Blackpool Council, said: "So far only a few images of the new development have been released so this will be this first opportunity for residents to see the detail of the scheme. The Foxhall Village is going to transform this area of Blackpool and create a new community, it's a very exciting time."
Foxhall Village was designed by Broadway Malyan.
