Video: Widnes Waterfront fly-through
Below is the latest 3D animation, produced by T3D, to help developers and the public see the vision for Widnes Waterfront in Halton.
Since the first version of the model was made in the early days of the 200-acre regeneration project, many of the developments are now either completed or in advanced stages of planning.
Forward Point, Turnstone Business Park, the new B&Q superstore and associated trade park, Heron Business Park, public art and new road system are all completed and shown in the video. It also features the latest plans for The Hive - a leisure and entertainment complex which includes an ice rink, multi-screen cinema, bowling alley, restaurants and retail.
The fly-through includes the latest artist's impression of the New Mersey Crossing over the river.
And the new video is 'photo-real' so it has clouds, and reflections to make the whole thing look more realistic. What more could you ask for?
