Tim Frankland
Tim joined Claremont Group Interiors as a member of the Sales
team in 1987 and became Sales Director and a member of the Main
Board following the management buy-out of the founders of the
company in 1996. Tim's role has developed and he is now
Commercial Director with strategic and overall responsibility for
the operation of the business.
Career So Far
Tim's approach is 'hands-on' - focusing on
the detail that ensures a project is delivered effectively and
meets the client's needs. With over 20 years' experience in
the office interiors industry his knowledge of the marketplace and
the manufacturing process is second-to-none. He has a deep
determination to get things done and a willingness to take
responsibility for all aspects of major projects.
Career Highlights
Tim's clients-both previous and current-include Skipton Building Society, Bradford & Bingley, TNT and McDonalds. Tim has been Account Director of TNT since 1996 ensuring a continuity of approach. He is also the Account Director for McDonalds, managing and delivering three projects at the head office site with a combined value in excess of £4m over the last three years.
During 2005/6 Tim was involved in the delivery of a number of
projects for Northern Rail, most significantly the design and build
of offices in Leeds and their Head Office for 400 staff in York.
Two more Northern Rail projects were delivered during 2007, as well
as The Leeds Building Society Head Office (£3.6m, 52 week
programme). During 2008-2010, Tim has been working with the Royal
Liver Group on the re-development project for the Royal Liver
Building-a complicated and phased programme of works in excess of
£20m which is being designed and implemented by Claremont.
Recent Work
Tim is also the Claremont Project Director for the relocation of Manchester City Council to First Street in Manchester. This fast-track project encompasses the fit-out and furniture supply for 1400 people was completed in April 2010.
