Existing 1940s system built housing on a five acre site.
Large gardens and land enabling a phased development of 90 social housing units.
First phase complete. Second phase in planning process.
Challenges met included gaining TSA approval, tenant liaison, diverse historical issues.
Advised on and secured funding.
Concepts for zero carbon solutions under development for future phases.

Apartments
Location: Alsager
Instructed by a private developer to maximise the potential of the site close to the town centre.
Working within a conservation area, needed character and style with a contemporary approach.
Created homes for people whilst safeguarding protected trees.
Added extra value for developer by winning planning appeal against refusal to allow additional apartment.
Gave evidence at appeal hearing – challenging local authority statements.
Oversaw conventional tender process and project managed the build, working with the NHBC.
