The Lymm company hosted interactive workshops for pupils and staff to create bespoke furniture and design the new Learning Resource Centre and Information & Communications Technology spaces.

Wayne Taylor, managing director of Space°, said: "Our approach was well thought out and ensured that the school looks its best whilst also remaining practical and functional. We look forward to receiving feedback from the staff and pupils when they return to school next week."

Balfour Beatty, the construction company for the school, commissioned Space° to carry out the redesign in conjunction with architect John McAslan + Partners.

Simon Law, design manager of Balfour Beatty, said: "The hard work and effort of the team at Space° helped us gain the confidence of the school in our delivery of the entire design on time and under the original budget. I look forward to working together with the Space team again in the near future."
