Orchard Street hires TSG

Orchard Street has appointed TSG Property Consultants as joint agent with Cushman & Wakefield on Bauhaus, the 50,800 sq ft office on Quay Street which is currently undergoing a part-refurbishment with completion due in January 2016.

The available floors which are being refurbished when completed will total 15,000 sq ft over three floors.

Helena Kolsaker, asset manager at Orchard Street Investment Management, said: “Bauhaus is a very well located office building within Manchester city centre and we will be delivering two additional Grade A, fully refurbished floors of the building to the market for January 2016. I am therefore delighted to welcome TSG Property Consultants to join the team and to help find new tenants for the building.”

Trevor Sloan, director of TSG, said: “With the continued development at Spinningfields and the new development of the St John’s Quarter, Bauhaus is ideally placed to attract firms wishing to make a statement of its intent and ambition within the city. We are confident of securing some early lettings at the building.”

Orchard Street bought Bauhaus from Blackrock for £16m on behalf of St James’s Place property funds in 2013.
