North West Regional Construction Awards open for entries

Businesses from across the property and construction sector are invited to submit their entries to the 10th annual North West Regional Construction Awards 2016.

Held in partnership with Constructing Excellence, the Centre for Construction Innovation and the University of Salford, the awards cover all aspects of the built environment.

The awards aim to celebrate and acknowledge exceptional passion, commitment and collaboration across large or small organisations, project teams and individuals throughout the region.

Place North West is media partner for this year’s event.

Dino Moutsopoulos, commercial director of Place North West, said: “Being the sole dedicated regional publisher for the built environment, Place North West is very pleased to help promote this year’s events, especially on the 10th anniversary.”

The 2016 regional categories are slightly different this year to align with the National Awards which will take place in autumn 2016. The categories are:

  • Sustainability Award
  • Value Award
  • Health & Safety Award
  • Heritage Award
  • Innovation Award
  • Integration & Collaborative Working Award
  • Leadership & People Development Award
  • Young Achiever of the Year Award
  • BIM Project of the Year
  • SME of the Year
  • Contractor of the Year
  • Client of the Year
  • Sub-Regional Project of the Year
  • Project of the Year

All entries will be considered by an independent panel of judges. The closing date for applications is Friday 4 March 2016.

This year’s ceremony will take place at the Titanic Hotel in Liverpool on Thursday 30 June. Tickets for this black tie event are £130+VAT and include an arrival drinks reception, three course meal with wine and a seat in the awards ceremony. Tables of 10 cost £1,300+VAT.
